  • What ignited your pursuit for SDGs especially the goals you believe in?
It has been in my interest to begin learning about the SDGs and their impact since change could start from a single person. I intend to leave a positive fingerprint in my community and so the SDGs helped me outline the action that I could follow to halo my society. Since I am part of the medical field, it is crucial to correct medical knowledge and fight against all the false beliefs of our society, which falls in coordination with goal 3. Looking up to all the female leaders inspired me to be one. I’ve made it my mission to prove that efficiency is based on skills, not gender.
  • Please share your biggest wins as an SDGs advocate
My biggest win will be being aware of the SDGs and their impact. It’s not only theoretical goals. Many of these goals changed the course of our lives, and many will still do. I attended several sessions and workshops, in addition to Empower 2030 leaders, which widened my perspective and role as an advocate.

  • Outside of your SDGs advocacy work, what do you enjoy doing?
During my free time, I enjoy nurturing myself whether socially or academically. I reconnect with my family and friends, spend time to reflect, and get to know myself better. On the other hand, I am fond of volunteering in a variety of roles to explore all the options available.
