  • A brief bio:

"My name is Lojaina Elsharkawy, and I’m currently pursuing a degree in Physical Therapy at Portsaid University. I initially began my studies in Pharmacy, but my passion for rehabilitation and helping others led me to transfer to Physical Therapy. While the journey has been exciting, it hasn’t been without challenges—especially when it comes to balancing my time and social life, as I’m often juggling a packed schedule. From 2014 to 2019, I was a competitive fin swimmer, training over 24 hours a week alongside my academics. Winning Best Swimmer at the Egyptian National Finswimming Championship in 2015 was one of my proudest achievements. That experience instilled in me the importance of discipline and perseverance, which I rely on to manage my hectic life today. Since 2023, I’ve been working as a private science tutor, and I’ve also been involved in community projects, including co-leading a vocational training initiative for local housewives as part of the Inclusive Youth Empowerment Program. Balancing these commitments has been challenging, but it’s also been incredibly rewarding, especially when our project won first place in October 2024. I’m an active member of the Egyptian Red Crescent Portsaid branch and the Portsaid Medical Students Association, and I’m always striving to grow both academically and personally."

Additionally, I make an effort to raise awareness among my family and friends about sustainable practices.
