Ahmed Shaker

Brief Bio

Ahmed is a medical student at Cairo University, born in Cairo in September 2005. In 2017, he applied for a patent for a pharmaceutical composition to treat iron deficiency anemia and won the Cairo Science and Innovation Award. He worked as a marketing and sales specialist for two years and then as an operations specialist at OBM Educational Services. He participated in important projects, including the IBM SkillsBuild platform, and chaired the organization of many student forums and conferences. He was the head of the marketing and sales committee at TedXyouth@NLS and trained over 130 students in marketing and volunteering. He also participated in the UNESCO Sustainable Development Camp and worked with the advocacy team against violence against children. He is currently a member of the Scientific Student Association of the International Federation of Medical Students and has had an interest in history and political analysis since a young age.
